How do I advertise my car?

Advertising your car is simple, just click the sell your car link at the bottom of this screen, and follow the on screen instructions.

When will my advert appear on the site?

Adverts are normally displayed within 12 hours of them being placed. This delay is so we can authenticate your advert, however we find that almost all adverts are authentic. You will receive an email once your advert has been processed.

Can I include a picture with my advert?

Yes, when entering your advert you’ll be asked if you’d like to include an optional picture. You can upload three pictures directly from your computer onto AutoSearcher.co.uk. There is also no need for your picture(s) to already be on the web.

How long will my advert be displayed?

Your advert will be displayed until your car sells; however we will remove adverts not updated for over 30 days.

How do remove my car once it's sold?

Your accepted email will contain a unique link you can use to mark your car as sold. Adverts marked as sold will be removed shortly afterwards.

Can I change my advert at a later date?

We provide update pages, which allow you to change advert details (selling price etc), after the advert has been placed. You can also upload a picture (or even change a picture) if you didn't have one available at the time of placing your advert.

Does AutoSearcher.co.uk have a mailing list off buyers looking for cars?

Yes, AutoSearcher.co.uk has a mailing list of people already looking for particular cars. When your advert is placed it will be checked against this list, and any buyers looking for the car your selling are notified immediately about your advert.

Are my details kept confidential?

Yes, information on this site is kept strictly confidential and never past to any 3rd parties. Once your advert is removed all details belonging to your advert are removed also; we will never hold your information afterwards. It’s also our policy never to send unsolicited emails.
