When will my advert appear on the site?
Adverts are normally displayed within 12 hours of them being placed. This delay is so we can authenticate your advert, however we find that almost all adverts are authentic. You will receive an email once your advert has been processed.

Can I include a image with my advert?
Yes, when entering your advert you’ll be asked if you’d like to include an optional image of your vehicle. Images are free and cost nothing extra to use. You can upload up to five pictures directly from your computer onto AutoSearcher. As images are uploaded directly, there is also no need for your image(s) to already be hosted on the internet. More important we have made uploading images very simply, a novice can do it!

The minimum size of your images must be 30k, and the maximum size is 2MB (2048k). Once we have your images, we will automatically re-size them to the correct sizes. The image will appear instantly in your advert, and once uploaded they can be deleted or changed as you require. The reason we allow such large images to be uploaded, is so users with hi quality digital cameras have the convenience of uploading images directly and without resizing the image yourself.

The image sizes we create are 61px wide thumbnail and a 504px wide advert picture. Depending on the size of your image, we also attempt to create a 1024px wide super size image. No other car-site on the Internet provides the quality of images AutoSearcher does. Please note Images are provides free with your advert, so cost nothing extra if you choose to use them.

How long will my car be displayed for?
Your advert will be displayed until your vehicle sells, however if after 60 days the vehicle has not sold we will contact you to ask if you still require the vehicle on AutoSearcher. If you do it costs no more to continue to run your advert. We normally find that vehicles sell much sooner then this time, and we do this simply to keep adverts up to date.

How do remove my car once it's sold?
Your accepted email will contain a unique link you can use to mark your car as sold. Adverts marked as sold will be removed shortly afterwards.

Can I change my advert at a later date?
We provide update pages, which allow you to change advert details (selling price etc), after the advert has been placed. You can also upload a picture (or even change a picture) if you didn't have one available at the time of placing your advert.
